Cookie Policy

Effective: 1 March 2026

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or to provide information to the website owner. CrossKitchen uses cookies sparingly and only where necessary.

2. Cookies we use

CrossKitchen sets one first-party cookie:

Name Purpose Duration Type
session_token Keeps you signed in between page loads. Without this cookie you would need to sign in on every page. Session (deleted when you close your browser) Strictly necessary

We do not set analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

3. Third-party cookies

When you reach the payment step, our payment processor Stripe may set cookies on their domain for fraud prevention and session continuity. These cookies are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy. CrossKitchen does not control them and they are not accessible to us.

4. Managing cookies

Because the only CrossKitchen cookie is strictly necessary for authentication, we do not show a cookie consent banner for it — it falls under the "strictly necessary" exemption in most privacy regulations. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from signing in.

For guidance on managing cookies in your browser, visit allaboutcookies.org.

5. Changes to this policy

If we introduce new cookies in the future, we will update this policy and notify users where required by law. The current version is always available at this URL.
